Upcycle ospita la premiere italiana di Cracked Earth, il film di Shift Cycling Culture.
Shift Cycling Culture, una fondazione che ha la missione di accelerare l’azione collettiva per il clima nell’industria e nella comunità ciclistica globale, lancia un film sull’impatto del cambiamento climatico nei luoghi in cui amiamo pedalare. Il film uscirà con un tour in tutto il mondo e la premiere italiana sarà da Upcycle il 29 marzo 2023.
Come ciclisti, condividiamo tutti l’amore per la bicicletta, ma allo stesso tempo condividiamo anche una sfida globale ed esistenziale: il cambiamento climatico e la perdita di biodiversità stanno avendo un impatto devastante sugli spazi esterni che utilizziamo come parco giochi. Cracked Earth cattura le vite dei ciclisti di tutto il mondo, che vivono in aree in cui il cambiamento climatico non è più una minaccia futura, ma una realtà quotidiana.

La proiezione avrà i sottotitoli in italiano e sarà presente in sala la traduzione per le chiacchere con Lian.

Upcycle hosts italian premiere of Cracked Earth, the Shift Cycling Culture film.
Shift Cycling Culture, a foundation aiming to accelerate collective climate action in the global cycling industry and community, launch a film about the impact of climate change on the places we love to ride. The film will be released with a Premiere Tour of screenings around the world throughout.
As cyclists, we all share a love for the bike. But we also share a global, existential challenge: climate change and biodiversity loss are having a devastating impact on the outdoor spaces we use as our playground. Cracked Earth captures the lives of cyclists worldwide, living in areas where climate change is no longer a future threat, but a daily reality.
Tickets are FREE, but you do need to register HERE.
Guest of the event Lian van Leeuwen, founder and director of Shift Cycling Culture.
The screening will have Italian subtitles and translation will be present in the hall for chats with Lian.
